Patient Billing Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Wyoming.

📋 Description

• Become a Patient Billing Specialist with us, where you will assist patients with payment processing, billing education, insurance verification, and inquiries related to claims.

• This position requires delivering compassionate, precise, and compliant service while navigating through healthcare billing systems and policies.

• Specialists will handle all payment processing and payment plan tasks, in addition to providing advanced support for billing, insurance, and claims.

⛳️ Requirements

• Previous experience in customer service or a call center is essential.

• Experience in healthcare billing, insurance, or claims is strongly preferred.

• Prior experience with payment processing or financial transactions is desirable.

• A high school diploma or GED is required; further education in billing or healthcare is advantageous.

• Proficiency in EMR systems and standard computer applications is necessary.

• Capability to work independently in a remote or virtual setting is essential.

• Must possess the ability to communicate in English, including speaking, reading, writing, and understanding.

• A background check is required in accordance with applicable laws.

🏝️ Benefits

• Starting pay - $14/hr with an additional shift differential (extra $1/hr for nights & weekends)

• Paid Training - usually lasts 2 weeks from 7:00am to 4:00pm, Monday to Friday (MST)

• Employment status - Full Time at 40 hours, eligible for benefits on the 1st of the month following 60 days
