This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Provide strategic and operational assistance to patient organizations and professional associations, along with managing regional and national initiatives to enhance patient engagement.
• Identify and cultivate new collaboration and business prospects through proactive outreach to potential partners and the initiation of partnerships.
• Create and execute formats/events aimed at broadening the reach and visibility of patient-centered initiatives.
• Establish, sustain, and further enhance a strong network with patient organizations, patient representatives, and relevant healthcare stakeholders.
• Plan and carry out events and promotional activities in close cooperation with the Marketing team.
• Represent Abbott Diabetes Care at health fairs, events, and networking functions.
• Accountable for meeting defined engagement, cooperation, and project objectives.
• Work collaboratively with Market Access, Marketing, and Field Sales to maximize patient potential in designated regions.
• Oversee budget planning and analyze and present pertinent market and patient data.
• A university degree or equivalent qualification in healthcare, natural sciences, communications, or business.
• Several years of professional experience in the medical device or pharmaceutical industry, preferably in field sales, project management, or event management.
• Demonstrated experience in project management, event management, and establishing networks and stakeholder relationships.
• Familiarity with the German healthcare market; experience in the diabetes sector and collaboration with patient organizations is advantageous.
• Strong interest in digital health and medical device solutions.
• Exceptional communication and presentation abilities, coupled with a highly independent and organized working style.
• Proactive approach with a strong sense of personal responsibility and enthusiasm for B2B outreach and acquiring new business partners.
• Fluency in German, good command of English, and a strong willingness to travel within Germany.
