Patient Account Specialist, PST/MST

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Answering all incoming phone calls

• Investigating customer issues

• Gathering customer information

• Processing payments from customers

• Addressing all customer inquiries through fax, email, and calls

• Providing exceptional customer service

• Overseeing each customer inquiry until resolution

• Performing a comprehensive review of patient accounts

• Analyzing Explanation of Benefits (EOBs)

• Recovering unpaid customer balances

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED

• 3+ years of experience in healthcare, billing, or customer service

• 3 years of experience in Medical Billing

• CPAR – Certified Patient Account Representative certification

• Associate’s degree in business administration or a related field

• Knowledge of medical insurance billing and claims processing

• Experience with Epic or eClinicalWorks

• Bilingual in Spanish
