This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Exhibit expertise in navigating systems, managing intricate workflows, handling telephone calls, online inquiries, faxes, and other communication channels.
• Professionally respond to incoming calls and strive to assist patients in any way possible.
• Maintain a friendly and inviting demeanor in all interactions with patients.
• Provide timely assistance to patients across various services, including:
• Enrolling new patients into the EHR system.
• Scheduling, canceling, and rescheduling appointments for reproductive healthcare, including abortion services.
• Entering and updating insurance details.
• Communicating patient messages to providers.
• Supplying patients with pre-visit instructions as required.
• Transferring calls to the appropriate nursing advice staff when needed.
• Aid patients in identifying a suitable provider and appointment for their care.
• Utilize EHR systems efficiently to facilitate patient care.
• Assess patients for financial support using real-time eligibility (RTE), while addressing more complex queries as needed.
• Reach out to patients to inform them of any cancellations or rescheduling of visits.
• Prioritize the patient in every interaction, adhering to all HIPAA regulations and guidelines.
• Provide training, assistance, and mentoring to fellow colleagues.
• Collaborate with supervisors to meet established performance metric standards.
• Use the phone system to log activities.
• Engage in continuous training and quality assurance activities.
• Follow all established workflows, scripts, and departmental greetings.
• Achieve performance targets for patient experience, quality, productivity, and all related metrics.
• Participate in special projects and undertake additional duties as assigned.

• Commit to learning about and improving practices related to racial equity and understanding the effects of structural racism on healthcare systems.

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• Strong verbal communication skills and active listening abilities.
• Customer-oriented with the ability to adapt to various personality types.
• Proficient in multitasking, setting priorities, and managing time effectively.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Proficient in the English language.
