This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +2 more states.
• Act as the main liaison for patients, caregivers, and healthcare provider office staff.
• Offer approved information regarding oncology care, benefits, products, disease states, and programs.
• Execute welcome calls and maintain ongoing touchpoints throughout the patient journey.
• Assist with patient enrollment in GSK services, including the Patient Assistance Program (PAP).
• Guide patients and their offices through the enrollment process, addressing any missing information and consent capture.
• Provide treatment education utilizing approved call guides and supply the Important Safety Information (ISI) and Product Information (PI) when necessary.
• Inform patients about coverage outcomes, cost-sharing obligations, and financial assistance options.
• Coordinate transfers to Specialty Pharmacy, Medical Information, the GSK Response Center, REMS vendors, and Benefits Specialists.
• Ensure accurate documentation and record any adverse events or product quality complaints.
• Educate provider offices on payer coverage, coding, payment policies, and GSK Patient Support Programs.
• Assist in resolving access cases, including benefit investigations, prior authorizations, and appeal processes.
• Identify reimbursement challenges and escalate complex issues as needed.
• Collaborate with Payer Account Managers, Specialty Pharmacy Account Directors, and Oncology Sales teams.
• Document all interactions and manage cases in Salesforce Health Cloud / CRM.
• Adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs), business rules, compliance guidelines, HIPAA regulations, and confidentiality protocols.
• Maintain a clear distinction between patient-facing and account-facing responsibilities.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Over 3 years of combined experience in field reimbursement, hub case management, patient experience initiatives, or assisting patients and providers with insurance verification, prior authorization requirements, and access criteria.
• Willingness to travel up to 20%, including overnight stays.
• A valid driver's license.
• Candidates must reside within the assigned territory or within 30 miles of the territory boundary.
• Extensive experience in oncology patient navigation, access and reimbursement, or hub case management.
• Proficient in using CRM and case management platforms, preferably Salesforce Health Cloud.
• Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
