This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Deliver clinical education regarding disease states and product information to patients and their families.

• Collaborate closely with patients, families, physicians, and other office personnel to identify and address barriers to access.

• Facilitate a comprehensive understanding of Catalyst’s medications.

• Advocate for patients by providing educational resources and opportunities.

• Engage with HUB partners at Catalyst Pathways to ensure effective communication with patients and their families.

• Educate patients and/or their families regarding reimbursement and insurance policies.

• Coordinate communication among key stakeholders to guarantee patients receive the clinical support necessary for a successful transition to therapy.

• Guide patients and their families about access and affordability programs.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with other commercial teams to address access challenges for patients.

• Provide insights to healthcare providers on health plan policies and procedures.

• Conduct Connect Calls to review open cases within Catalyst Pathways.

• Maintain continuous communication with patients and their families to address unmet needs and propose compliant solutions.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and over 5 years of experience in the Pharma/Biotech sector.

• Prior experience as a Field Reimbursement Manager is essential.

• Strong preference for experience in the Patient Services Department.

• Capability to work independently with patients for educational support.

• Ability to guide external stakeholders, including physicians and nurses, in facilitating patient access.

• Skill in independently identifying access solutions and determining suitable resolution plans.

• Uncompromising ethics and a robust compliance mindset.

• High degree of emotional intelligence combined with empathy and active listening skills.

• Technical expertise in at least two of the following areas: Rare Disease access or reimbursement, Managed Care or public payer reimbursement, Nursing, Specialty Pharmacy, Billing and coding, Patient Advocacy.

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is highly recommended.

• Willingness to travel up to 70% of the time based on territory requirements.
