Patent Agent – Quantum, Physics

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Take complete ownership of patent applications for key clients in the quantum technology sector.

• Draft and manage U.S. patent applications.

• Prepare responses to Office Actions and engage in examiner interviews.

• Coordinate and oversee foreign prosecution strategies alongside international counsel.

• Collaborate directly with inventors and clients to pinpoint inventions, formulate patent strategies, and provide guidance on portfolio development.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5–10 years of experience in patent prosecution, preferably having held at least one position at a large law firm or a top-tier IP boutique.

• Extensive knowledge of quantum technologies, which may include quantum computing, quantum communications, photonics, superconducting systems, quantum algorithms, or related areas.
