Patent Agent

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Engage with inventors to draft patent applications for submission to the USPTO.

• Prosecute patent applications before the USPTO, which includes interviewing Examiners.

• Collaborate with clients and BoMc attorneys to create and enhance claim strategies.

• Proactively oversee a docket of cases for clients ranging from startups to Fortune 500 companies.

• Prepare noninfringement and invalidity opinions.

• Conduct due diligence investigations.

• Execute freedom-to-operate and landscape analyses under the guidance of firm partners.

⛳️ Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in patent prosecution.

• Applicants with backgrounds in electrical engineering, computer/software, mechanical engineering, chemistry/biochemistry, biology, physics, or IPR/litigation are particularly sought after.

• A positive attitude towards client service is essential.

• Exceptional organizational, interpersonal, and professional service skills, both written and verbal.

• Capability to multitask, prioritize multiple responsibilities, and thrive in a team environment.

• A self-starter dedicated to achieving success and advancing personal professional growth.

• A passion for being involved in all facets of a dynamic law firm team.

• School transcripts must be submitted with the application or upon request by the firm.
