This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Facilitate the implementation of a proactive lead generation strategy aimed at securing new in-kind and funding partnerships, while also diversifying the partner base across new industry segments and expanding base-level funders.
• Assist in creating prospect research profiles and aid in showcasing and promoting business initiatives and opportunities to fresh audiences and partners through presentations, briefings, and reports, establishing a pipeline of new partners/donors for Food Banks Canada.
• Collaborate with senior leadership and internal cross-functional teams to identify potential partnership opportunities.
• Support the reporting and financial tracking of strategic partnerships within the CRM database.
• Provide coordinated assistance to enhance corporate relationship loyalty through exceptional service and innovative problem-solving.
• Aid in the ideation and development of national corporate and cause marketing campaigns for organizations in the cultivation phase.
• Completion of a post-secondary college diploma program or equivalent in business, marketing, fundraising management, or a related field.
• A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in a related field (business-to-business marketing/sales at an agency level or within a corporate development team, focusing on cause marketing, sponsorship, account development, partner acquisition, and/or lead generation).
• Bilingualism (English/French) is a significant asset.
• The ability to coordinate complex projects and perform effectively in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment is essential.
• Confident, polished, and possessing excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in computer applications (Microsoft Office) and knowledgeable about the Internet and Intranet.
• Familiarity and comfort with using CRM/databases (Raiser’s Edge, Mission CRM, Salesforce, etc.).
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical, time management, and organizational skills required.
• Proven ability to build positive working relationships and collaborate effectively with individuals at various levels within an organization.
