Partnership Controller – CDD

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Organize controls in accordance with the annual control plan.

• Lead the preparation phase, including contractual review, claims portfolio analysis, and the definition of control scope and objectives.

• Facilitate round-table meetings with internal stakeholders (Claims, Operations, Compliance, Legal, etc.) to pinpoint risks and gather expectations and feedback from partners.

• Execute controls in collaboration with partners.

• Evaluate the operational handling framework, focusing on processes, timelines, customer communication, and complaint management.

• Conduct sample reviews and quality checks on files, emphasizing accuracy, consistency, and adherence to regulatory and contractual obligations.

• Test the complete customer journey from start to finish.

• Identify issues, weaknesses, and risks related to operations, compliance, conduct, and finance.

• Draft clear findings and recommendations, and devise a corrective action plan with the partner.

• Oversee the implementation and effectiveness of action plans, ensuring timely resolution of issues.

• Propose enhancements to control tools, templates, and procedures.

• Participate in cross-functional discussions regarding risk and compliance matters affecting the organization.

⛳️ Requirements

• A postgraduate degree specializing in insurance, risk, audit, or internal control.

• Ideally, 3–5 years of experience in claims management within an insurer, MGA, or claims management firm.

• Strong knowledge (or eagerness to learn) in audit, control activities, and risk management.

• A fundamental understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements related to insurance distribution and claims (AM, IDD, GDPR) is advantageous.

• Proficient in Word and Excel.

• Fluent in English and French; knowledge of any additional language is a plus.
