
Partner Team Lead – LATAM

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.
• Develop and adapt Wati’s partner strategy specifically for LATAM, ensuring it aligns well with global frameworks.
• Create scalable processes for partner acquisition, onboarding, enablement, and performance management.
• Define and implement key performance indicators (KPIs), a reporting structure, and partner segmentation (IPP).
• Establish a structured partner lifecycle model that encompasses recruitment, activation, and growth.
• Lead and nurture the existing partner team, comprising both hunter and farmer roles.
• Foster team rituals, track performance, and create accountability frameworks.
• Coach and support the team to enhance execution, productivity, and results.
• Collaborate across functions with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Product teams.
• Oversee partner acquisition operations for Mexico and other Spanish-speaking countries in LATAM.
• Personally spearhead high-value partnerships, particularly in key markets.
• Build and maintain a robust pipeline of agencies, resellers, and solution partners.
• Identify and engage partners that align with our Ideal Partner Profile (IPP).
• Drive partner activation, engagement, and revenue contribution.
• Establish scalable models for partner enablement and co-selling.
• Monitor partner performance and implement strategies to boost productivity.
• Cultivate long-term relationships with strategic partners.
• Serve as the primary liaison between LATAM and the global partnerships team.
• Adapt global initiatives, tools, and programs to meet local market requirements.
• Provide structured feedback and insights from LATAM to shape global strategy.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in Partnerships, Business Development, or Channel Sales within the SaaS sector.
• Demonstrated experience in building and scaling partner programs.
• A strong commercial mindset with the ability to drive revenue through partnerships.
• Experience in managing or mentoring teams.
• A hands-on profile, comfortable with balancing strategy and execution.
• Experience collaborating with marketing agencies, CRM implementers, SaaS resellers or solution partners, and automation/MarTech ecosystems.
• A solid understanding of LATAM markets, particularly Mexico.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluency in both Spanish and English is required; proficiency in Portuguese is a significant advantage.
