Partner Engagement Manager

📋 Description

• Serve as the reliable AWS technical advisor for key partners, guiding them in solution design and architectural choices.

• Lead the onboarding process for new partners, facilitating a smooth integration of AWS through Pax8.

• Conduct engaging training sessions, technical workshops, and pre-sales support to empower partner teams.

• Assist partners in advancing through AWS programs, unlocking new capabilities and tier upgrades.

• Promote the use of AWS tools, best practices, and initiatives that contribute to partner success.

• Collaborate with internal vendor and go-to-market teams to develop compelling technical value propositions.

• Contribute to internal training and spearhead strategic initiatives that enhance AWS expertise within Pax8.

• Function within a structured sales environment, providing support for pipeline visibility, forecasting, and opportunity growth.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in AWS environments with a solid technical background (AWS Certification) and understanding of commercial aspects.

• Experience in account management, including contract negotiations and program development.

• Familiarity and experience with the AWS console and services (Organizations, Billing, IAM, Partner Central).

• Demonstrated ability to guide partners through their cloud adoption and maturity stages.

• Strong comprehension of AWS account structures and partner profitability models.

• Knowledge of AWS programs (Distribution, SPP), funding mechanisms (Well Architected, Startup, MAP), and prevalent industry use cases (MSP, ISV, SMB).

• Experience in supporting partner-led go-to-market strategies and enablement projects.

• Confidence in conveying complex concepts to diverse audiences.

• Ability to merge technical depth with revenue-focused outcomes.

• Experience in structured sales environments with accountability for pipeline and forecasting.
