This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Review, update, maintain, and service accounts by ensuring the documentation of client/plan accounts complies with industry policies and regulations.
• Respond to all incoming calls at the operational center concerning client account and compliance inquiries related to the account/plan type.
• Examine the basic information included in all types of plan agreements.
• Keep accurate records and notes to guarantee that all plan requests are fulfilled within the specified regulatory time frames.
• Offer support and guidance regarding necessary operational processes, policies, and deadlines.
• Assist management in identifying outdated or ineffective procedures and policies.
• Collaborate with management to enhance departmental productivity by participating in unit meetings, ongoing training, and self-improvement.
• Compile and file weekly statistical reports for the department.
• Carry out general clerical tasks, including faxing, copying, and filing.
• Support other areas of the department with various functions during high volume periods and/or low staffing levels.
• Execute other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
• General knowledge of all job functions within Operations.
• Familiarity with various industry rules and regulations that must be adhered to for all plan/product types.
• Organizational and time management abilities to prioritize tasks and ensure completion of duties and projects by deadlines.
• Reasoning and problem-solving skills to investigate and resolve general issues.
• Proficiency in operating standard office equipment and utilizing required software applications, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Access) to create documents, spreadsheets, and business correspondence.
• Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor to engage with all levels of management, fellow employees, and counterparts at other companies.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment while cooperating with supervisors.
• Effectively manage stress resulting from time constraints, changes in workflow volume, and inquiries from phone calls or associates.
• Acquire knowledge of the various legal documents needed by different companies to process client requests.
• Quickly learn and apply new information, skills, and processes, including different regulations, back office systems, and imaging systems.
• Read and interpret financial statements.
• Exhibit efficiency and adaptability in performing detailed transactional tasks in a fast-paced work environment with frequent interruptions and shifting priorities.
• Conduct accurate data entry, utilizing 10-key by touch, and type at least 30 words per minute.
• Deliver a high level of customer service.
• Must have a reliable internet connection; candidates should possess in-home Wi-Fi to effectively perform job duties.
