Part Time Weekend Mental Health Clinician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Manage an active caseload that is billable, including individual, couples, and family therapy.

• Collaborate with clients to create personalized action plans that focus on mental health, substance use, and co-occurring symptoms.

• Participate in weekly individual clinical supervision, group clinical supervision, and staff meetings.

• Act as a member of the integrated services care team within VOAMASS to enhance clients' experiences through a holistic health approach.

• Be part of the crisis team to ensure clients receive crisis intervention services, brief supportive psychotherapy, and prompt assessments to triage and refer to appropriate providers based on the level of need.

⛳️ Requirements

• A 60 credit Master’s Degree from an accredited institution focused on mental health counseling, social work, psychology, or a related human services field is required.

• The Master’s program must have included an internship component.

• Licensed candidates (LMHC, LICSW, and LADCI) must possess an active license in MA.

• Unlicensed candidates must meet the eligibility criteria for licensure in MA according to the timeline established for each licensure track.

• A minimum of one year of experience working with clients who have substance use disorders, mental health disorders, and co-occurring disorders is necessary.

• Experience working with various age groups, diverse populations, and a wide range of diagnoses is required.

• Proficiency in safety and risk assessment skills for supporting high-risk populations is essential.

• Knowledge of trauma-informed care and harm reduction philosophies is important.

• Computer skills are necessary for learning the electronic medical record system.
