Part-Time Vape Inspector

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Travel to designated locations as per the schedule to conduct compliance assessments.

• Carry out routine inspections of Vape retail establishments and complete compliance check forms.

• Recognize and document pertinent facts and findings necessary for the assigned inspections.

• Conduct interviews and inspections with key business representatives in a professional manner.

• Capture and gather high-quality photographs of evidence related to the information requested on the inspection form.

• Deliver precise, high-quality, and timely reports on all inspections performed.

• Prepare a detailed report highlighting potential compliance issues or violations.

• Comply with stringent regulations governing the execution of inspections.

• Inspectors may be required to testify as witnesses in administrative hearings and court proceedings pertaining to the inspections they have conducted.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a STATE employee within the food, drug, or health sectors and able to acquire credentials and commission to perform inspections.

• Must be capable of coordinating inspections and accurately documenting information gathered from inspection sites for reporting purposes.

• Possesses strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Exhibits keen attention to detail.

• Proficient in utilizing tools, equipment, and systems to accomplish tasks.

• Demonstrates exceptional time management and organizational abilities.

• Must be able to pass a background investigation.

• Must be eligible to obtain a commission.

• Must have no conflict of interest with the assigned retail establishments.

• Must possess and be able to operate a motor vehicle.

• Must hold a valid real ID (or passport) and be capable of traveling domestically.

• Must have at least one valid credit card for work-related travel expenses, which will be reimbursed.
