Part-Time Territory Sales Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.

📋 Description

• Sell and ensure full distribution of all authorized Hershey products within the designated territory.

• Implement Headquarters Sales and Merchandising Plans with various retail partners.

• Meet merchandising goals by utilizing Permanent Secondary Displays and other promotional tools.

• Construct displays, enhance the distribution of best-selling products, and restock permanent secondary displays.

• Employ consultative selling techniques, along with influence, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

• Define and prioritize retail objectives prior to each store visit.

• Provide weekly reports on activities, expenses, account modifications, promotions, and administrative tasks.

• Document daily activities using tablets at the end of each workday.

• Visit around 6-10+ accounts each day.

• Collaborate with store leadership, internal teams, and colleagues to develop strategies and address challenges.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must possess a valid driver's license issued by a US state.

• Must have a personal vehicle that is in good working condition.

• Must maintain personal auto insurance with at least $100,000 coverage per person, $100,000 per accident, and $100,000 for property damage, allowing for business use.

• Must reside or be willing to commute within the territory limits.

• Must be capable of driving long distances and making multiple sales calls each day.

• Must be able to regularly lift 10-40 lbs., with or without reasonable accommodations.

• Must frequently be able to bend, kneel, stoop, and demonstrate manual dexterity, with or without reasonable accommodations.

• Must be proficient in using tablet technology.

• Must have daily access to wireless internet.

• Must be flexible and adaptable to changes in territory coverage.

• Availability to work between 20-25 hours weekly.

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.

• 3-4 years of food merchandising experience is preferred, though not mandatory.
