Part-Time Telehealth Therapist, LCSW, LMHC, LPC

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Deliver individual therapy through real-time video sessions to adults facing a variety of mental health challenges.

• Collaborate with therapists and clinicians as a member of the FOLX clinical team.

• Conduct initial and ongoing assessments; create and execute therapeutic interventions; monitor and refine treatment plans based on self-assessments, functional improvements, and goal progress indicators.

• Utilize between-session messaging to assist patients and liaise with the team through EMR, adhering to FOLX policies and procedures.

• Engage in treatment team meetings, supervision sessions, and clinical team discussions.

• Keep thorough and timely clinical documentation.

• Assist in designing, coordinating, and delivering therapy services and programs for patient and community populations.

• Adhere to federal and state therapy regulations.

• Maintain necessary state licenses as required.

• Undertake additional responsibilities as needed.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master’s degree or higher from an accredited program in psychology, counseling, or social work.

• Active state license(s) (LCSW, LMFT, LMHC, LPC, PhD, or PsyD) to practice upon hiring.

• Minimum of 2 years of therapy experience.

• Clinical experience with the trans and queer community.

• Prior telehealth experience.

• Commitment to the FOLX mission and the Informed Consent Model of Care, emphasizing empowerment, transparency, and collaboration.

• Strong communication skills, both clear and compassionate, with patients and colleagues; fluency in additional languages is advantageous.

• Organizational and time management capabilities to ensure timely completion of charts and member care in a remote work setting.

• Self-driven, independent, and adaptable to a rapidly evolving environment.

• Capacity to learn new applications and programs, with proficiency in virtual meeting platforms.

• Proven experience working with diverse groups, including diversity in race, ethnicity, economic status, and educational background.
