This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Perform maintenance and repairs on both open-wheel and closed-wheel racecars as well as support vehicles.
• Carry out daily inspections to ensure that racecars are prepared for the day's events.
• Execute Night Checks to detect and address any issues or problems with racecars.
• Assess, adjust, repair, and maintain the Company's fleet of transport vehicles and racecars.
• Document all maintenance requirements and repairs following Company policies.
• Support Pit Lane operations, which include flagging and minor repairs.
• Adhere to company protocols when signing out parts necessary for maintenance tasks.
• Help maintain the cleanliness of the shop and tools.
• Dismount, mount, and balance tires as required.
• Assist in loading and unloading trailers that contain racecars and supplies.
• Wash and clean racecars as instructed.
• Operate a forklift when needed.
• Successful completion of an Automotive Technician training program from an accredited Technical School or Junior/Community College (or equivalent experience).
• Strong ability and enthusiasm for collaborating as part of a team.
• Detail-oriented with exceptional mechanical skills.
• Proactive, observant, and understands the importance of maintaining and repairing transport vehicles and racecars.
• Willingness to travel interstate/nationally at least bi-monthly and potentially relocate based on Company needs.
• Capability to work both outdoors and indoors, sometimes under adverse weather conditions.
• Flexibility to work a schedule that includes weekends for national programs and events, and occasionally late nights.
• Currently possesses, or is prepared to acquire, the necessary tools for the position.
• Clean driving record to operate Company transport vehicles and racecars on and off site as necessary.
• Aspires to establish a career as a professional technician/mechanic within a top-level racing team.
• Committed to meeting the standards of a professional automotive technician.
• Ability to work independently, maintain focus, and complete assignments accurately within the designated time frame.
• Willing to learn SBRS operating, maintenance, and repair procedures.
• Maintain an excellent attendance record, including punctual arrivals and departures according to schedule.
