This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Create comprehensive talking points for engagements with senior leaders.
• Draft, edit, and enhance briefings, presentations, and strategic messaging for both internal and external audiences.
• Prepare Congressional testimonies, policy inquiries, and formal responses aligned with mission priorities.
• Provide editorial assistance for strategic and operational planning documents.
• Generate regular updates and summaries to inform senior leadership about team achievements and emerging issues.
• Aid in Congressional engagement initiatives through the development of talking points, messaging documents, visual materials, legislative proposals, and revisions of annual posture documents.
• Produce high-quality written materials swiftly in response to requests from senior leaders.
• Coordinate stakeholder contributions to ensure precision and consistency across communication materials.
• Contribute to strategic initiatives, policy papers, and communication strategies.
• Assist in planning team communication requirements, public affairs initiatives, and information operations working groups.
• Maintain and utilize subject-matter expertise related to counternarcotics, strategic competition, and other focus areas of the organization.
• Ensure that written materials comply with organizational standards and reflect the intent of senior leaders.
• A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree in a related field; or 4 years of relevant experience with a Master's degree in a related field; or a high school diploma or equivalent with 10 years of relevant experience.
• Proven experience in preparing speeches, talking points, testimonies, and other high-level written documents for senior leaders.
• Strong capability to synthesize complex information from various sources.
• Demonstrated skill in editing and coordinating contributions across large organizations.
• Experience in supporting strategic communication, operational planning, or policy development.
• Exceptional research, analytical, and writing abilities.
• Capacity to produce timely, accurate, and polished communication materials under pressure.
• Eligibility to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products and collaboration platforms is preferred.
• Familiarity with strategic communication, interagency coordination, and senior leader support is preferred.
• Background in national security, military operations, policy writing, or related fields is preferred.
