Part-Time SMB Sales Manager – Cloud & AI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Engage with leads generated from events, partnerships, referrals, outbound initiatives, and various business-development channels.

• Take charge of leads from the initial outreach through to qualification and conversion.

• Comprehend customer requirements and pinpoint how Emumba’s technology and cloud solutions can add value.

• Sustain momentum across opportunities via structured and timely follow-ups.

• Convert promising discussions into qualified opportunities and tangible revenue.

• Build trusted relationships with potential customers and key stakeholders.

• Conduct discovery discussions to grasp business challenges, technology environments, and purchasing priorities.

• Articulate Emumba’s capabilities in cloud infrastructure, software engineering, AI, and digital transformation.

• Collaborate with internal technical teams when deeper solution expertise is necessary.

• Keep precise records of prospects, conversations, next steps, and opportunities.

• Prioritize leads based on their commercial potential and likelihood of conversion.

• Develop disciplined follow-up routines to ensure continuous progress on opportunities.

• Provide insights into pipeline activity, customer feedback, obstacles, and anticipated outcomes.

• Attend industry events and be willing to travel within the country.

• Create a structured follow-up process for both existing and incoming leads.

• Establish connections with prospective customers and enhance visibility into commercial opportunities.

• Transform discussions into qualified opportunities, opportunities into customer engagements, and customer engagements into revenue.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of relevant professional experience in technology sales, cloud infrastructure, or similar B2B technology environments.

• Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure and platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) and/or Microsoft.

• Exceptional verbal communication skills, high energy, ownership, and a strong inclination for action.

• Capacity to unlearn and learn effectively.

• Excellent organizational and follow-through abilities.

• Capability to manage multiple customer conversations concurrently while maintaining an active pipeline of 25-30 customer engagements.

• Comfortable working autonomously and taking responsibility for advancing opportunities through the sales process.

• Expertise in creating sales pipelines through industry events and expos.

• Ability to sell Emumba’s value proposition alongside AWS Cloud Infrastructure, resulting in a net conversion leading to a scope of work.

• AI-native approach to work incorporating Generative AI and contemporary sales tools.

• Willingness to commit around 20 hours per week.
