This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Conduct psychiatric assessments and evaluations for clients through ongoing telemedicine services.

• Must be open to treating individuals aged 14 and older.

• Prescribe medications as necessary to alleviate mental health symptoms.

• Develop and collaborate with clients on personalized care plans.

• Complete and/or administer relevant paperwork and assessment tools for clients.

• Follow Thriveworks' Clinical Practice Guidelines diligently.

• Consult with Regional Clinic Directors and staff regarding clients, programs, and services across various locations.


⛳️ Requirements

• Must possess a Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner certification - Board Certification is mandatory.

• A Master's degree in Nursing with active prescriptive authority in the state is required.

• Familiarity with AdvancedMD (AMD) EMR is advantageous.

• A minimum of three years of experience is preferred; however, at least one year of psychiatry practice is a must.

• Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners must be licensed and reside in the state where they will practice.

• Part-time availability requires 15 to 20 hours per week.

• All clinicians are required to undergo in-house training on ADHD treatment standards, guidelines, and approaches, followed by a brief exam.

• While all new hires will be enrolled in the ADHD Clinic and are expected to accept and treat ADHD clients, there are no quotas for the number of clients or prescriptions.
