Part Time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner – Fee For Service

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas.

📋 Description

• Conduct psychiatric assessments and evaluations for clients through ongoing telemedicine services.

• Willingness to provide treatment for individuals aged 14 and older.

• Prescribe medications as necessary to alleviate mental health symptoms.

• Develop and collaborate with clients on personalized care plans.

• Complete and/or administer relevant paperwork and assessment tools for clients.

• Follow Thriveworks' Clinical Practice Guidelines diligently.

• Collaborate with Regional Clinic Directors and staff regarding clients, programs, and services across various locations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must hold a Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner designation with Board Certification.

• A Master's degree in Nursing and active prescriptive authority in the state is required.

• Familiarity with AdvancedMD (AMD) EMR is advantageous.

• Three years of experience is preferred; however, at least 1 year of psychiatric practice is mandatory.

• Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners must be licensed and reside in the state where they will practice.

• Part-time positions require 15 to 20 hours of availability each week.

• All clinicians must complete in-house training on our ADHD treatment standards, guidelines, and approach, followed by a brief examination.

• Although all new hires will be enrolled in the ADHD Clinic and are expected to accept and treat ADHD clients, there are no quotas for client numbers or prescriptions.
