Part Time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner – Fee For Service

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.

📋 Description

• Conduct psychiatric assessments and evaluations for clients through ongoing telemedicine services.

• Willingness to provide treatment for individuals aged 14 and older.

• Prescribe medications to alleviate mental health symptoms as necessary.

• Develop and collaborate with clients on tailored care plans.

• Complete and/or administer relevant paperwork and assessment tools for clients.

• Comply with Thriveworks' Clinical Practice Guidelines.

• Consult with Regional Clinic Directors and staff regarding clients, programs, and services across various locations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with Board Certification.

• A Master’s degree in Nursing with active prescriptive authority in the state is required.

• Familiarity with AdvancedMD (AMD) EMR is advantageous.

• A minimum of three years of experience is preferred; at least one year of psychiatry practice is mandatory.

• Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners must reside in the state where they are practicing.

• Part-time positions require a commitment of 15 to 20 hours per week.

• All clinicians are required to undergo in-house training regarding our ADHD treatment standards, guidelines, and methodologies, followed by a brief examination.

• While new hires will be enrolled in the ADHD Clinic and are expected to accept and treat ADHD clients, there are no quotas for the number of clients or prescriptions.
