Part Time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner – Fee For Service

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alaska.

📋 Description

• Conduct psychiatric assessments and evaluations for clients through ongoing telemedicine services.

• Must be willing to treat clients aged 14 years and older.

• Prescribe medications as necessary to alleviate mental health symptoms.

• Develop and collaborate with clients on individualized care plans.

• Complete and/or administer relevant paperwork and assessment tools for clients.

• Comply with Thriveworks' Clinical Practice Guidelines.

• Engage in consultations with Regional Clinic Directors and staff regarding clients, programs, and services across various locations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Licensed as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner - Board Certification is mandatory.

• A Master's degree in Nursing with active prescriptive authority in the state is required.

• Familiarity with AdvancedMD (AMD) EMR is advantageous.

• A minimum of three years of experience is preferred; at least one year of psychiatric practice is mandatory.

• Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners must hold a license and reside in the state where they will practice.

• Part-time positions require availability of 15 to 20 hours per week.

• All clinicians must complete in-house training on our ADHD treatment standards, guidelines, and methodology, followed by a short examination.
