This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Cultivate trust and rapport with clients.
• Collaborate with parents to identify the available support systems.
• Assist parents in defining their short-term and long-term priorities and objectives.
• Partner with parents to create a tailored action plan for their family.
• Provide families with necessary resources and guides as required.
• Conduct monthly 45-minute Boost calls with your clients.
• Maintain regular communication with clients through our app.
• Participate in meetings requested by clients, such as IEPs, IPPs, and Self-Determination meetings.
• Help parents utilize their Binder account to track their child’s providers, therapies, assessments, evaluations, IEPs, and more.
• Execute various administrative tasks, including documenting notes post-client calls.
• Advocate for and promote Undivided’s voice, mission, and culture of inclusivity.
• A minimum of three years of personal experience or two years of professional experience in navigating systems such as special education, Regional Center, Medi-Cal, IHSS, and/or CCS; parent or volunteer experience is encouraged.
• At least one year of experience providing services to families of children with disabilities or directly to children with disabilities.
• Bachelor’s or master’s-level education in social work, education, special education, human resources, counseling, nursing, or a family support-related discipline is a plus.
