This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.
• Proactively manage client loan applications in ApplyOnline from the point of submission to formal approval and settlement.
• Conduct thorough serviceability assessments using lender-specific calculators or Quickli, ensuring that all figures are precise and ready for immediate broker reliance without the need for re-checking.
• Analyze complex financial documents, such as bank statements, tax returns, salary-sacrificed structures, and novated leases, while adjusting calculations according to lender-specific policy variations.
• Develop strategic recommendations concerning optimal loan structures, LVR exposure, and packaging options to avoid unnecessary cross-collateralization.
• Create client-facing "Game Plans" and strategic documents, translating complex internal broker and banking terminology into clear, highly professional language.
• Communicate directly with lenders and BDMs to overcome conditional approval challenges, request pricing discounts, and clarify policy exceptions.
• Order valuations, prepare discharge forms, and accurately manage rate-lock confirmations to ensure seamless transaction timing.
• Carry out extensive policy reviews across national schemes, first-home-buyer grants, state-specific concessions, and postcode-based restrictions.
• Maintain strict compliance standards and follow robust cybersecurity and privacy policies to protect sensitive financial information.
• Draft high-quality Statements of Advice (SOAs) and perform financial planning administrative tasks that directly support the Director’s financial planning practice.
• Experience: 3 to 5+ years of direct, hands-on experience in Australian mortgage broking support or loan processing.
• Technical Expertise: A thorough understanding of Australian lending fundamentals, including LVR, stamp duty/purchase cost separations, and the precise mechanical differences between offset accounts and redraw facilities.
• Tool Proficiency: Capable of using major Australian lender serviceability calculators. Comfortable employing AI productivity tools ethically to support, but not replace, your own analytical judgment.
• Communication: Outstanding verbal and written English communication skills, with a demonstrable ability to create professional, client-oriented strategy documents.
• Preferred Skills & Experience (Nice to Have):
• Candidates with genuine paraplanning experience in addition to the essential mortgage broking qualifications are highly desirable and will be considered for an expanded, full-time role that encompasses both mortgage broking support and paraplanning support!
• Direct hands-on experience with the LMG (Loan Market) aggregator network and MyCRM system.
• Previous exposure to complex lending files, including SMSF, Bridging, and Investment lending.
