Part Time Merchandiser

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Represent Mondelēz in retail settings with professionalism, enthusiasm, and a dedication to excellence.

• Act as the company’s representative, providing exceptional customer service to both store teams and shoppers.

• Conduct store visits in accordance with Mondelēz’ DSD Merchandising Principles, including capturing display photos through the digital merchandising initiative (DMI).

• Establish and nurture relationships with store staff, such as backroom receivers, to facilitate the execution and visibility of our brands.

• Organize shelves, rotate products, and uphold brand standards throughout your assigned stores.

• Implement promotional displays and ensure adherence to the plans negotiated by your Retail Territory Manager (RTM).

• Adhere to daily schedules and priorities established by your RTM for effective coverage within your retail team and colleagues.

• Assist with seasonal sales, new product launches, and high-visibility merchandising events.

• Relay store-level insights, issues, or opportunities to your RTM and retail team using Salesforce.

• Prioritize safety and compliance, embracing the physical aspects of the role, which include lifting, bending, and moving products in a dynamic environment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid driver’s license from the state of residence.

• A High School Diploma or GED is preferred; candidates can also earn their GED while acquiring skills!

• 1-3 years of experience in retail or consumer goods is preferred.

• Must have a positive and professional demeanor, be self-motivated, and able to work independently.

• Capability to operate a personal vehicle with valid insurance coverage to various store locations (mileage will be reimbursed).

• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in a fast-paced environment, including repetitive lifting, bending, and carrying up to 25 lbs, with occasional pushing and pulling over 50 lbs. This includes moving products from the stockroom to the sales floor and stocking shelves.
