Part-Time Home Infusion Field Nurse

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas.

📋 Description

• Oversee and manage intrathecal pump therapy for individuals experiencing chronic pain or spasticity.

• Conduct pump refills, reprogramming, and troubleshooting in collaboration with prescribing providers.

• Provide education to patients and caregivers regarding medication protocols, pump operations, and indicators of adverse reactions or infections.

• Work alongside physicians, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals to guarantee consistency and high-quality care.

• Accurately document all care activities, assessments, and communications in a timely manner within electronic medical records.

⛳️ Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN) with an active, unrestricted license in the state of practice.

• Additional licensure or compact status is preferred.

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, including at least 1 year in home infusion or pain management.

• Experience in home health care is preferred.

• Current BLS certification (ACLS certification is preferred).

• Current TB Skin test or QuantiFERON blood test (conducted within the last 12 months).

• Strong clinical judgment, problem-solving capabilities, and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently in a home environment and manage a mobile work schedule.

• Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation.
