Part-Time Field Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Travel to rural locations to install and service our devices on farms, with a range of 1-50 sites in a single day.

• At each location, you will need to disinfect your boots and tires, scale feed bins that are between 10 and 40 feet tall, and install our sensors and small solar panels inside the bin on-site.

• The installation process usually takes between 10 to 15 minutes.

• Troubleshoot minor issues with field devices that require servicing when necessary.

• Follow biosecurity protocols as required at each farm location.

• Keep precise records of mileage and time sheets.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma.

• Certification for working at heights, with a comprehensive understanding of fall protection equipment usage.

• Clean driving record with the capability to drive for 8 to 10 hours daily.

• A dependable smartphone and basic knowledge of its functionalities, including taking simple measurements.

• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent communication skills to interact with customers, with proficiency in English.

• A positive demeanor and a service-oriented mindset.

• A solid work ethic, maintaining high standards for yourself while respecting others.

• Trustworthy, punctual, and dependable.

• Ability to work under various weather conditions.

• Physically capable of climbing and lifting objects over 50 lbs.
