Part-time Faculty, Teacher Education

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Deliver constructive and timely feedback to students on a variety of assessment tasks.

• Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment focused on student needs.

• Complete all required assignments by set deadlines (e.g., final grades, assessments, grading rubrics, input for grade appeals, etc.).

• Engage in necessary professional development and/or scholarly activities, as required.

• Offer insights to the course lead regarding the course material.

• Recognize at-risk students and work collaboratively with student services.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Master's Degree in Education or a related discipline from a regionally accredited institution.

• At least five years of teaching experience in a K-12 classroom setting is required.

• Must possess a California teaching credential in either multiple subjects or a single subject.

• One to two years of teaching experience in higher education is preferred.

• A Doctoral degree in Education or a related field from a regionally accredited university is preferred.

• Experience in mentoring teachers is advantageous.
