Part-time Faculty, Computer Science

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Offer constructive and timely feedback to students on various assessment tasks.

• Foster a positive, secure, and inclusive learning environment focused on student success.

• Complete necessary assignments within deadlines (such as final grades, assessments, grading rubrics, and contributions for grade appeals).

• Engage in relevant professional training and/or scholarly activities, as applicable.

• Provide insights to the course lead regarding course material.

• Identify students at risk and work in collaboration with student services.

⛳️ Requirements

• An MS or PhD degree in Computer Science or a related field from a regionally accredited institution is required.

• Preference for candidates with one or more years of experience in higher education teaching.

• A robust background in any of the following areas is advantageous: Software Engineering, AI, DevOps, Computer Networking, Database Systems, and Computer Architecture.
