Part-Time Director

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Serve as a Board-level advisor on governance, strategy, regulatory issues, and business performance.

• Assist the organization during the MiCA licensing process, focusing on regulatory preparedness, documentation, and governance frameworks.

• Oversee adherence to Polish financial regulations and EU crypto-asset regulatory standards.

• Represent the company in interactions with regulators and external stakeholders as necessary.

• Evaluate Board-level KPIs, financial performance, operational risks, and strategic objectives.

• Provide counsel to the CEO and senior leadership team regarding regulatory, corporate, and market-related topics.

• Participate in shaping decisions related to product strategy, European expansion, risk management, and business development.

• Enhance internal governance standards, accountability, reporting structures, and decision-making processes.

• Cultivate trusted relationships with regulators, industry partners, and key market stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must have permanent residency in Poland.

• Proficient in both Polish and English.

• At least 2 years of senior management experience in financial services, FinTech, payments, crypto, banking, or a similarly regulated field.

• Strong grasp of governance, regulatory compliance, risk management, and accountability at the Board level.

• Previous experience as a Board member, Director, or in senior leadership within a regulated entity is highly desirable.

• Possess an excellent professional reputation, free from adverse records, sanctions, or issues that might hinder regulatory approval.

• Demonstrate strong strategic thinking, commercial insight, and the capacity to foster business growth in a regulated context.

• Familiarity with crypto, digital assets, MiCA, AML, or virtual asset operations is a significant advantage.
