
Part-Time Contract Program Manager β Intermediary Services

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
β’ Lead initiatives from inception to completion while managing and executing daily project operations.
β’ Ensure alignment with funder objectives, manage risks, and deliver results punctually and within budget.
β’ Develop and supervise work plans, execute critical tasks, and guide project teams toward client objectives and deliverables.
β’ Collaborate with senior intermediary leadership, contract evaluators, subject-matter experts, administrative personnel, and internal stakeholders.
β’ Design, manage, and execute logistics for program operations, grantmaking, and events utilizing platforms such as Submittable and Zoom.
β’ Create and maintain project plans, roadmaps, timelines, and milestones.
β’ Co-design grant guidelines, application materials, FAQs, and budgets.
β’ Organize and staff office hours, technical assistance, and grant application support.
β’ Plan content and oversee logistics and agenda development for peer-learning gatherings, training sessions, and conferences.
β’ Monitor project advancement and identify risks and obstacles.
β’ Provide progress updates and reports to senior leadership and stakeholders.
β’ Ensure deliverables adhere to quality standards and supply information for invoicing and reporting.
β’ Develop, document, facilitate, and deliver training and workshop curricula in collaboration with program and grant administration staff and/or subcontractors.
β’ Facilitate peer-learning opportunities.
β’ Perform additional duties as assigned.
β’ A minimum of 5 - 7 years of relevant experience in nonprofit project management, consulting, philanthropy, leadership development, racial justice work, public policy, public health, public administration, program development, community development, civic engagement, organizational or community capacity building, evaluation, or other related fields.
β’ Personal experience in a community that is traditionally underrepresented in nonprofit leadership roles.
β’ Capacity to be agile and resourceful in a dynamic setting, managing shifting needs and anticipating future steps.
β’ Experience leading complex government-funded contracting or grant initiatives, nonprofit organizations, or startup ventures is advantageous.
β’ Experience and/or comfort in knowledge organizations and thought partnership roles, translating ideas into action in ambiguous, evolving, and flexible projects.
β’ Proven experience working with diverse groups and within a team environment, with a collaborative and consultative approach.
β’ Familiarity with the landscape of Los Angeles' nonprofit, philanthropic, and government sectors.
β’ Exceptional organizational, analytical, and written/oral communication skills.
β’ Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
β’ Willingness to travel locally for related meetings, convenings, or conferences may be required.
β’ Bachelorβs Degree or equivalent experience.
β’ Successful completion of a Live Scan, including a criminal records check, is required prior to an offer being made.
