Part-Time Clinical Practice Manager, RN – Regional Diploma in Psychiatric Nursing Program

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Supervise all facets of first-year clinical education within the Older Adult, General-Medical, and Medical-Surgical clinical practice environments.

• Oversee clinical operations, providing support to both faculty and students.

• Foster strong relationships with industry partners to uphold a high standard of clinical education.

• Assist in the recruitment, onboarding, and orientation process for Clinical Practice Faculty.

• Offer leadership, direction, and performance oversight to Clinical Practice Faculty and staff members.

• Recognize and address faculty development needs, manage performance evaluations, and facilitate administrative coordination.

• Conduct preparation sessions aimed at ensuring Year 1 student success in clinical practice.

• Guarantee high-quality and compliant Year 1 clinical placements through meticulous site selection and documentation management.

⛳️ Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid practicing registration (in good standing) with the BCCNM, possessing a minimum of 5 years of full-time nursing experience.

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is required; a Master’s degree is preferred (candidates currently pursuing a graduate degree may be considered).

• Proven leadership experience in nursing management and/or clinical education is advantageous.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and knowledgeable about digital tools such as project management software and communication platforms.

• Familiarity with HSPnet is considered beneficial.

• Must be willing and able to occasionally travel across British Columbia to support faculty and students at clinical partner sites, with travel expenses covered.
