Part-Time Chaplain

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Acts as a messenger and representative of faith, mission, and purpose.

• Engages with businesses, their staff, and the community in a way that reflects character through personal and spiritual practices.

• Visits employees or their immediate family members at locations where care can be provided, such as hospitals, nursing homes, funeral homes, residences, or other venues.

• May assist in planning, conducting, or attending funerals for employees or their immediate family members, including offering follow-up support and encouragement during the bereavement period.

• Ability to work collaboratively as part of an interdisciplinary team and within an interfaith environment.

• Skills to listen effectively and interact with clients, employees, and their families.

• Spiritual maturity and a commitment to a Christian lifestyle aligned with MCHAPs Ministry values.

• Proven ability to engage professionally with diplomacy, patience, and courtesy across diverse groups.

• Demonstrated capability in analyzing information to identify and address problems or objectives.

• Proficient in using Google Suites, Microsoft Office, or other comparable software.

• Provides referral services and coordinates specialized assistance for employees and/or their immediate family members with specific needs.

• Represents companies to clients/customers when appropriate regarding ministry services related to serious illness, accidents, traumatic events, and funerals.
