Part-Time Brand Ambassador

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Assist in driving sales for Artisanal Brewing Ventures’ brands.

• Professionally and enthusiastically represent the company at events, festivals, and tastings.

• Interact with customers during events, providing them with information about the beers and the company.

• Set up, dismantle, and maintain cleanliness at pouring stations at event locations.

• Transport and care for table displays, equipment, and materials.

• Serve beers and distribute promotional materials while discussing the attributes of the beers.

• Uphold a professional image and demeanor at all times.

• Provide support to Sales staff as required.

• Participate in brewery training events to stay updated on product offerings.

• Execute additional business-related tasks as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.

• High School diploma is required; a college degree is preferred.

• A passion for the craft beer industry and an appreciation for its culture.

• Outstanding communication skills, especially in public speaking.

• Outgoing, energetic, and confident personality.

• Ability to work evenings and weekends, with a flexible schedule given prior notice.

• Certification as a Cicerone or Certified Beer Server is a plus.

• Regular visits to bars, restaurants, stores, and festivals, with some events potentially being outdoors.

• A valid state driver’s license is required and must be maintained throughout employment.

• Capability and willingness to lift a minimum of 31.5 lbs. from ground level to a shelf 50 inches high.

• Ability to move 165 lbs. of kegged beer by sliding it on the floor.

• Must successfully complete a post-offer, pre-employment background and driver's license verification.

• Compliance with safety policies and procedures at the worksite is essential.
