This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Prepare agreements and various legal documents following directives from senior attorneys.

• Develop and oversee contract templates along with standard legal forms.

• Perform legal research and provide summaries of findings for legal professionals.

• Create legal documents and supporting materials for attorney evaluation.

• Ensure that all documents are precise, complete, and in accordance with firm standards.

• Organize and maintain legal files and documentation efficiently.

• Support the enhancement of internal workflows and documentation processes to facilitate effective delegation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Exceptional written and verbal English proficiency.

• Experience at an Australian law firm focusing on commercial law is highly desirable.

• Candidates with experience at UK law firms will also be taken into consideration.

• Alternatively, 7–10+ years of legal experience in the Philippines, ideally within a law firm or legal support setting.

• Strong skills in legal drafting, with experience in preparing contracts, agreements, and legal documents.

• Robust legal research skills with the ability to clearly summarize findings for attorneys.

• High attention to detail and document accuracy.

• Excellent organizational skills and the capacity to manage multiple deadlines.

• Ability to work autonomously and deliver high-quality outcomes with minimal oversight.

• Proficient in legal and productivity software, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Google Workspace, legal research tools (Austlii or Jade), document management systems (iManage or NetDocuments), practice management software (Clio, LEAP, Smokeball, or Actionstep), and PDF tools such as Adobe Acrobat.

• Openness to initially work under an Independent Contractor agreement and subsequently transition to an Employer of Record (EOR) arrangement.
