This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Utah.

📋 Description

• Develops, trains, and supports distributor personnel to fulfill the needs of our collision shop customers, particularly in the areas of new products, technical assistance, training availability, and value-added programs.

• Possesses training and competency in all Axalta brands, technologies, and processes to lead new customer installations, train and certify painters, and resolve technical issues.

• Organizes educational events such as refinisher meetings, Lunch & Learns, WOW sessions, and counter clinics to guide in optimizing paint and material system performance and profitability.

• Consistently demonstrates safety awareness, emphasizing the safe application of products and the use of personal protective equipment, setting an example for customers.

• A strong team player who actively looks for opportunities to support market activities, collaborates effectively with the team, and eagerly shares ideas during market meetings.

• Completes and engages in all ongoing training, assessments, and certifications for all Axalta brands and technologies.

• Utilizes Axalta paint and material account management tools to support key accounts and reinforces Axalta’s technical support network with shop personnel.

• Manages overall selling expenses within the assigned budget.

• Stays updated with industry trends and association activities.

• Encourages and fosters teamwork with peers and other resources to address customer needs and document progress.

• Maintains a flexible schedule and possesses a willingness to travel up to 75%.


⛳️ Requirements

• High School diploma/GED with a Bachelor’s degree preferred.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in the Automotive Coatings industry.

• Strong understanding of body shop paint application and related equipment.

• Fluency in English is required; fluency in Spanish is advantageous.

• A valid Driver’s License is required.

• Excellent computer skills with proficiency in applications such as email, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Acts with a strong sense of urgency and can prioritize work effectively.

• Possesses effective written and oral communication skills, along with strong presentation abilities.

• Strong problem-solving, time management, and communication skills.

• Ability to collaborate effectively as a contributing member of a high-performance sales team.

• Capable of selling, influencing, and negotiating with customers.

• An active listener who is able to interpret customer needs.

• Strong interpersonal skills with sensitivity and respect for people's differences.

• Self-motivated, demonstrating effective performance with minimal supervision.

• Presents oneself in a professional manner at all organizational levels.

• Possesses business acumen and a strong customer focus.

• Able to effectively network internally and with customers.
