Pain Management Medical Director

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas.

📋 Description

• Supervise Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants delivering pain management services.

• Oversee telemedicine providers to maintain high standards of care.

• Evaluate patient documentation and offer constructive feedback.

• Advise providers on evidence-based practices for pain management.

• Assist in developing individualized treatment plans for geriatric and medically complex patients.

• Be accessible for provider consultations, case evaluations, and clinical support.

• Engage in monthly meetings with providers.

• Ensure adherence to Medicare, DEA, and Kansas state regulations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must hold an active MD or DO license in Kansas.

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pain Management, Anesthesiology, Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, Palliative Care, or a related specialty.

• Must possess an active DEA registration in good standing.

• Must be a Medicare-enrolled provider.

• Preferred experience in supervising NPs/PAs and/or telemedicine providers.

• Preferred experience with geriatric, chronic pain, palliative, or post-acute care populations.

• Strong knowledge of safe opioid prescribing and multidisciplinary pain management strategies is essential.
