Packaging Graphic Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Oversee the development, enhancement, and modification of packaging artwork across various product lines in accordance with project specifications, creative vision, and brand standards.

• Create and produce packaging mock-ups for internal evaluations, sales pitches, and submissions to retailers.

• Prepare final art files that are production-ready for factory delivery, ensuring precision, quality, alignment with dielines, and proper file formatting.

• Handle updates and revisions of artwork across different packaging formats, maintaining version control and accuracy throughout the production process.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and production teams to guarantee that artwork aligns with briefs, brand guidelines, and technical specifications.

• Design, adapt, and refine licensed sticker graphics, decals, and vector-based artwork.

• Assist in producing sticker and licensed artwork across a variety of styles, themes, and product ranges.

• Ensure that packaging and sticker artwork adheres to licensed brand guidelines, internal creative directives, and technical production standards.

• Keep design files organized, uphold naming conventions, and ensure that updated versions are easily accessible.

• Evaluate artwork for consistency, visual attractiveness, technical precision, print readiness, and quality of production.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience as a Packaging Graphic Designer with a robust portfolio showcasing consumer product, toy, or FMCG packaging projects.

• Proven track record in producing final art (FA) and packaging mock-ups for tangible products.

• High proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.

• Comprehensive understanding of print production processes, including dielines, bleed, trim, color modes, layers, links, and production file setup.

• Strong vector illustration capabilities, particularly in adapting and refining existing character or graphic designs into clean, production-ready vector formats.

• Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to produce high-quality work promptly without sacrificing standards.

• Experience with toys, children’s products, stationery, novelty items, collectibles, or consumer goods is an advantage.

• Familiarity with licensee brand guidelines or licensor style guides is a plus.

• Knowledge of sticker, decal, or label artwork for physical products is advantageous.

• Experience with AI image generation tools or AI-assisted design processes is a bonus.

• Capability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.

• Strong communication skills and adept at managing stakeholder relationships.

• Self-driven and able to work independently in a remote setting.

• Availability for a Monday-Friday schedule from 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM AEST.

• Must currently reside in the Philippines and possess legal authorization to work there.

• Access to a reliable computer, high-speed internet, and a quiet, dedicated workspace suitable for remote work.
