PACE Staff Pharmacist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Oversee and ensure quality assurance for pharmacy technicians

• Interpret prescriptions from physicians or prescribers

• Communicate with physicians to verify prescription details and accelerate order processing

• Confirm the legitimacy of controlled substances

• Validate prescription information submitted by data entry or order entry

• Reach out to physicians for new and transfer authorizations

• Collaborate with physicians to switch prescriptions to generic or preferred medications when feasible

• Monitor order status and address outstanding medication-related concerns and potential drug interactions

• Provide support to other pharmacists as required

• Mentor less experienced pharmacists

• Carry out additional tasks as assigned by management

⛳️ Requirements

• Required: Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy; PharmD preferred

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a licensed pharmacist

• Valid resident pharmacist license in good standing

• Excellent advanced problem-solving abilities

• Capability to collaborate with other departments to resolve issues

• Strong oral and written communication skills

• Proficient in reading and interpreting prescriptions

• High emphasis on customer service, quality, and accuracy

• Ability to manage timelines and meet stringent client deadlines

• Flexibility to adapt in a dynamic environment

• Willingness to work a flexible schedule during peak volume periods

• Must be a resident and have a license in Arizona, Florida, Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania, or Tennessee

• Access to a cable broadband or fiber-optic internet connection with a minimum of 10 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload speed
