Overnight Primary Care Physician, FM

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Deliver top-notch preventative, acute, and chronic care in a fully remote, virtual environment.

• Enhance remote care by fostering compassionate and impactful patient interactions.

• Oversee a dedicated group of patients as their primary care physician.

• Refer patients to specialists or acute care services when clinically necessary.

• Engage in population health initiatives for patients attributed by risk (AWVs, care gaps, transitions of care, risk capture).

• Assist patients right after discharge to improve their understanding of treatment plans and minimize hospital readmissions.

• Commit to ongoing self-assessment to ensure compliance with clinical guidelines and best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Board-Certified in Family Medicine.

• Over 3 years of post-residency professional experience.

• At least 2 years of experience in a face-to-face primary care environment.

• Experience with virtual consultations is a must.

• Prior experience with EPIC EMR is required.

• Clean background and medical malpractice record.

• Willingness to work a rotating schedule of 7 days on and 14 days off.

• Proficiency in Spanish is a plus.

• Strong passion for cultivating long-term relationships with patients and managing chronic care issues.

• Comfortable handling acute conditions in a virtual context.

• Significant experience managing over 3 cases per hour.

• Enthusiasm for learning and applying innovative technology to enhance efficiency and clinical results.
