Outside Sales Representative – Waterworks Municipal

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Establish and nurture relationships with vendors and a designated customer base.

• Collaborate with branch associates to guarantee customer satisfaction throughout the order process and beyond.

• Identify and seek out new business opportunities to grow the customer base.

• Partner with management to formulate sales strategies and target new accounts.

• Provide product quotations and address any issues that arise.

• Evaluate competition within the territory and create sales tactics accordingly.

• Convey sales strategies to management effectively.

• Enhance sales abilities and product knowledge continuously.

• Record sales activities in Salesforce CRM for pipeline assessment and measurement of sales closure.

• Assist customers in the designated territories of New Hampshire and Vermont or Western Massachusetts and Connecticut.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of sales experience in a related industry is preferred.

• A strong technical background with experience in the water, wastewater, or stormwater sectors is preferred.

• Exceptional communication, time management, and organizational abilities.

• Proficient in problem-solving, leadership, and listening skills.

• Basic digital literacy is necessary.

• Self-motivated with the capacity to manage multiple tasks and learn quickly.

• Results-driven and self-initiated.

• Capable of completing tasks promptly.

• Strong relationship-building skills and an enjoyment of teamwork.
