Outside Sales Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nebraska.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with clients to enhance retail sales performance and achieve sales targets.

• Recognize and provide consultative solutions that add value to clients’ operations and business requirements.

• Utilize fundamental sales principles while expanding knowledge of products, customers, industries, and internal systems to enhance sales, marketing, and advisory skills.

• Take initiative on opportunities; escalate or collaborate with more experienced colleagues when necessary and learn through observation and active participation.

• Establish and maintain a customer pipeline that includes both existing clients and new prospects.

• Engage with current and potential customers to represent the assigned co-op, strengthen relationships, and promote CHS products and services.

• Prepare basic proposals and assist in the creation of more complex bids.

• Develop and deliver straightforward customer presentations, and support more advanced presentations as required.

• Keep updated on market trends, industry changes, competitor actions, and sales initiatives.

• Actively support customers by anticipating their needs, responding promptly, and providing a high level of service.

• Acquire a working knowledge of CHS product offerings and solutions.

• Promote a culture of safety by following all policies and procedures; identify, communicate, and assist in resolving unsafe conditions or behaviors.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School diploma or GED.

• 2+ years of experience in Sales, Business Development, and/or Sales Business Operations.

• Bachelor's degree preferred in Business, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.

• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Proficient in the MS Office Suite: Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
