• Design and implement a territory sales strategy in collaboration with your manager.
• Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities.
• Nurture and expand existing customer relationships.
• Perform comprehensive prospecting activities, including lead qualification, cold calling, and sales presentations.
• Conduct regular in-person visits to customer locations to assess needs and propose solutions.
• Work closely with experienced customer service and technical support teams.
• Utilize CRM and sales tools to efficiently manage your time, territory, and sales pipeline.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• A technical degree of 2 years or more is preferred, with a preference for fluid power programs or similar fields such as industrial technology or mechanical disciplines.
• Fluid Power Certification is preferred, though not mandatory.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in industrial sales (preferably in hydraulic service or repair sales).
• Experience in rebuilding and repairing hydraulic equipment (either mobile or industrial) is advantageous.
• Demonstrated ability to establish relationships and consistently achieve or surpass sales targets.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proficiency in computer usage and the ability to learn and adapt to CRM tools.
• A valid driver’s license and readiness to travel within the territory (overnight travel may be required).
• This position will frequently involve on-site customer visits in industrial environments, necessitating the ability to meet with clients at their locations and drive moderate to long distances.
• Occasionally may need to lift items weighing up to 50lbs.
