Outside Property Claim Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.

📋 Description

• Attract, retain, and cultivate top-tier talent: Engage in proactive recruitment efforts; collaborate with management to develop and implement a strategic staffing approach. Ensure effective orientation and onboarding processes. Manage employee performance; implement strategies and plans to foster staff development; continuously identify and address training requirements; provide regular performance feedback.

• Deliver exceptional claim services: Utilize appropriate claim handling techniques to uphold our brand's integrity while providing consistent service quality and streamlined processes to enhance customer value. Create and execute a strategic file management plan that achieves optimal file resolution and positive business outcomes.

• Leverage the information advantage: Effectively utilize data, management information, and technology to recognize and capitalize on opportunities that support business strategies and enhance results.

• Collaborate for mutual success: Build and sustain effective relationships with colleagues, business partners, customers, agents, regulatory agencies, and others to fulfill organizational objectives and foster improved outcomes.

• Perform quality file reviews in accordance with office and best practices guidelines. Conduct ride-along inspections/reinspections with claims professionals to offer coaching and constructive feedback.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.

• A minimum of three years of claims work experience in at least one line of business.

• Valid Driver's License.

• Bachelor's Degree.

• Experience in claims management.
