This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• The Outside Plant Right of Way (ROW) agent is tasked with conducting easement research, validation, negotiation, acquisition, issue resolution, and the accurate recording of Ziply Fiber easements.

• Negotiate the acquisition of easements and land rights on behalf of Ziply Fiber.

• Manage the acquisition of land rights or secure proof of land rights necessary for the construction of fiber facilities.

• Identify optimal solutions utilizing either public right of way or private easements.

• Collaborate with Federal, State, and local government bodies to establish and obtain ROW Agreements and Permits.

• Review, interpret, and obtain public title reports and easement records.

• Efficiently manage and maintain Ziply Fiber easement records.

• Oversee and request surveys, appraisals, environmental, archeological, and other real estate assessments.

• Facilitate coordination between Ziply Fiber or its agents and landowners.

• Address landowner concerns and nurture positive relationships.

• Collaborate effectively with business partners and internal teams.

• Manage and work alongside Ziply Fiber agents and approved vendors.

• Resolve disputes related to property rights and boundaries for the existing network as necessary.

• Coordinate build activities as needed, specifically in accordance with negotiated easement agreements.

• Develop processes that support LEAN methodologies to address and solve challenges.

• Create project costing and assist in the development of business cases.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in real estate, project management, business, law, engineering, environmental science, geographic information systems, or a closely related field.

• At least five (5) years of experience managing easements and acquisitions within the telecom, wireless, or power infrastructure sectors.

• A minimum of five (5) years of experience with the legal processes and requirements associated with land rights.

• Proficient in reading, writing, and plotting legal descriptions, including metes and bounds.

• A minimum of five (5) years of experience in real estate negotiations, appraisals, land acquisition, title research, landowner relations, contract negotiations, or utility infrastructure project coordination.

• Experience with utilities distribution networks (Telecom, Wireless, or Power).

• A comprehensive understanding of telecom, power, or cellular networks.

• Proficiency in GIS platforms such as ARC GIS or QGIS.

• Familiarity with CAD-based drawing systems.

• Understanding of LEAN principles.

• Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license, auto insurance, and a satisfactory driving record.

• Completion of a pre-employment drug screening is required.
