This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Oversee designated property claims from initial inspection to final damage resolution.
β’ Conduct inspections of residential and commercial properties in various settings, including field, virtual, local territory, or during catastrophe deployments.
β’ Assess damages and analyze claim information, policy specifics, endorsements, deductibles, previous damage, photographs, imagery, and documentation.
β’ Create estimates, document findings, manage supplements, and process payments as necessary.
β’ Collaborate with Inside Claim Representatives regarding ownership, transitions, compliance, customer interactions, and the resolution of claims.
β’ Utilize approved vendors and resources to ensure high-quality outcomes, excellent customer service, and effective expense management.
β’ Assist with local territory tasks, catastrophe responses, and evolving business requirements.
β’ Apply expertise in property claims, construction knowledge, estimating abilities, and proficiency in Xactimate.
β’ Act as a resource for property damage across Personal Insurance, Business Insurance, and Catastrophe Claim Operations.
β’ Utilize AI-driven tools to enhance claims processing efficiency, quality, consistency, decision-making, and process enhancement.
β’ Cultivate relationships with customers, claim partners, vendors, contractors, and management.
β’ Facilitate resolution, make informed choices, appropriately escalate issues, and represent The Hartford in a professional manner.
β’ A college degree and/or relevant work experience is required.
β’ Preference for candidates with experience in property claims, construction, field adjusting, estimating, catastrophe response, or proficiency in Xactimate.
β’ Excellent customer service, communication, negotiation, critical thinking, and organizational skills are essential.
β’ Ability to prioritize competing demands, make informed decisions, and manage difficult conversations with professionalism and empathy.
β’ Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and capable of learning and utilizing new technologies and tools.
β’ Strong written and verbal communication skills with a focus on customer satisfaction and collaboration.
β’ Willingness to engage in nationwide catastrophe operations, including deployments that typically last 10 to 14 days or longer.
β’ Required to obtain and maintain necessary Property & Casualty Adjuster licenses.
β’ Must successfully complete relevant licensing exams within 30 business days following the completion of licensing training.
β’ Must hold a valid driverβs license and maintain a driving record that meets company and insurance standards for operating a company vehicle.
