Outpatient Medical Coder

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

⛳️ Requirements

• Certification from AHIMA or AAPC is mandatory.

• A minimum of three years of coding experience in an acute care environment is required.

• Proven experience in accurately assigning ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS codes across various outpatient records.

• Technical proficiency with remote connectivity tools, including virtual private networks, multi-factor authentication via mobile devices, and video conferencing platforms.

• Strong skills in office software, including Outlook for communication, calendar management for meetings, and Excel for data analysis.

• A consistent work schedule is essential, with expectations for dependable and prompt attendance.

• Achieve client productivity goals while ensuring coding quality remains at 95% or above.
