Outpatient Coding Quality Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assess outpatient coded records for thoroughness and precision

• Detect coding discrepancies, and investigate relevant AMA, payer, and regulatory standards

• Conduct retrospective coding quality assessments

• Act as a coding subject matter expert and a resource for the coding team

• Stay updated on official coding conventions, documentation standards, government regulations, and commercial payer policies

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of three (3) years' experience in outpatient coding

• Credentials: CCS, COC, CPC, RHIA, or RHIT
